Since its origination in 1992, The Gallatin Arts Festival has become the Gallatin school's biggest yearly event. The festival is a week-long celebration of unique artistry, featuring work in the visual and performing arts.
The docudrama Ribs premiered at the Gallatin Arts Festival. Inspired by the true stories of several young women in New York and directed by Geneviève Beaudoin, Ribs is a poetic piece consisting of eight long monologues, coming together in one show. Joosje's character Mel is an androgynous model who struggles seeing herself as beautiful, especially since the outside world only judges her by her looks.
